The Apollo Theater in Martinsburg, West Virginia, is a historic building with a spooky past. Built in 1913, the theater has been the site of many ghostly sightings and strange occurrences over the years.

One of the most popular events at the Apollo Theater is the Halloween Ghost Tour, where visitors can take a guided tour of the theater and hear about the ghosts that are said to haunt the building. The tour includes a visit to the backstage area and the basement area, where many of the ghostly sightings have occurred. When we went on the tour it started at midnight and we stayed until 4am in the morning.

According to local legend, the ghost of a former theater manager named Mr. Reynolds roams the backstage area. Many people have reported seeing his ghostly figure and hearing strange noises coming from the area. Another ghost that is said to haunt the theater is that of a former actor named John. He is said to still linger in the theater, still performing even after his death.

Besides these ghostly sightings, there have been reports of strange noises and cold spots throughout the theater. Some people claim invisible hands have touched them while on the tour. I experienced dizziness while climbing the spiral stairs. But that can be explained by old contraction not being level.
